Beyoncé fashion exhibition to open at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum

An exhibition featuring items of Beyoncé's clothing is to debut at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum.

Pieces such as her Super Bowl outfits and items from her music videos will go on view in the Ahmet Ertegun Main Exhibit Hall in the Ohio museum's Legends of Rock section.

This is despite the singer not actually having been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The exhibition will open from Tuesday (July 22) and her 'Single Ladies' video black leotard will be one of the main attractions.

Rock Hall curator Meredith Rutledge-Borger commented: "When we looked at the depth of the amount of stuff that she was willing to send, we just thought 'The only way we can really showcase these items is to put them in the Legends of Rock area in the museum', which really is the spot that we have to pay tribute to legends of rock, which Beyoncé has proven herself to be."

Lee Anne Callahan-Longo, the general manager of Beyoncé's production house Parkwood Entertainment, added: "For an artist to be able to have a presence where all of her idols and mentors live, it is a big deal. It's very meaningful to an artist when you feel like you've accomplished certain levels and to be asked to be part of this before she's eligible, I think that's really special."

Other artists who feature in the museum's Legends of Rock section include Michael Jackson, David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen.
