Beyoncé has teased fans by posting online a 50 Shades of Grey movie trailer.

A film version of the E.L. James erotic novel has been in production for a number of months and it seems Beyoncé could star on its soundtrack.

The singer posted a short clip on Instagram of a trailer for the Sam Taylor Johnson directed movie with a sensual remix of her track 'Crazy In Love' as its audio.

The US superstar gave little away and only said: "#fiftyshades."

The official trailer for the flick is due to land on Thursday (July 24), with the movie set for a February 14 release.

British songstress Rita Ora meanwhile will star in the film alongside a cast featuring the likes of lead Charlie Hunnam.
