Beyoncé to perform at Grammys

Beyoncé is the latest big name to be added to the Grammys line-up.

The awards ceremony is taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 8).

Common is due to perform the track 'Glory' with John Legend at the event.

However, he told Rolling Stone that Beyoncé will perform an intro to their slot.

Their song is from the film Selma and the US star will sing the gospel tune 'Take My Hand, Precious Lord', which also features on the movie's soundtrack, as a precursor.

Common revealed: "We're getting an introduction from the great Beyoncé. That's a whole other level, to have her singing 'Precious Lord'. I'm excited.

"It's the Grammys stage, so we're going to deliver some of the best performances we ever had."

Other names due to perform at the Grammys include Madonna, AC/DC, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Sam Smith.
