Beyoncé debuts brand new song and video for 'Formation'

Superstar Beyoncé shocked fans last night by unveiling a brand new song called 'Formation' along with its impressive music video.

The video was produced by none other than Mike WiLL Made-It and Apluss, and this is Beyoncé's first new track since 2014's '7/11.' Her daughter, 4-year-old Blue Ivy, also makes an appearance in the clip.

It has already attracted over 4.6 million views on YouTube and this is her second music video of the year as she appears in Coldplay's visual for 'Hymn For The Weekend,' which was released very recently.

Following the release of the 'Formation' video, two filmmakers took to Twitter and claimed that Beyoncé has used some of their footage from a documentary they worked on. Chris Black tweeted that the “new Beyoncé video used hella clips from the doc I produced and directed" and Abteen Bagheri also weighed into the conversation, adding, “I'm not mad. It's the sad reality of the music business. Doesn't affect my friends' and my work, but not cool.”

Beyoncé's team has already issued a statement on the accusations, which reads: "The documentary footage was used with permission and licensed from the owner of the footage. They were given proper compensation. The footage was provided to us by the filmmaker's production company. The filmmaker is listed in the credits for additional photography direction. We are thankful that they granted us permission."
