Beyoncé confirmed to headline Glastonbury
Beyoncé has been confirmed as one of this year’s Glastonbury headliners.
The bootylicious singer will take to the Pyramid Stage on the closing night of the sold out festival which takes place from 22-26th June in Somerset.
“This really is the biggest festival in the world and I cannot wait to perform there. Everyone who attends is really appreciative of music and is in such a good mood that entire weekend. I’m pumped just thinking about that huge audience and soaking up their energy,” she said in a statement.
Beyoncé is nominated for two awards at this Sunday’s Grammys: Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for ‘Halo’ live and Best Collaboration With Vocals for ‘Telephone’ with Lady Gaga.
