Beyoncé unveiled a brand new set of songs from her forthcoming album at an exclusive listening party on Wednesday, May 11. 

The 'Irreplaceable' singer hosted the event in New York at Sony's headquarters and showcased a completely new sound and style. JustJared.com was in attendance and quoted her as explaining:

"I wanted to do something refreshing and different,”  

“So I mixed genres and drew inspiration from touring, traveling, watching rock bands, and attending festivals… I was like a mad scientist, putting lots of different songs together.”

She premiered 5 tracks from the upcoming record, which she recently announced is entitled '4', and also debuted the 'Run The World (Girls)' video in full. Watch the 60-second teaser for it below:
