Beyoncé will unveil her full-length video for 'Run The World (Girls)' on an upcoming episode of American Idol. 

The international superstar will debut the visuals for her brand new track on the popular singing contest and is also set to release the video through VEVO at the same time. The episode will air on Wednesday, May 18 in the U.S and will be shown in the UK on Thursday, May 19. 

Francis Lawrence, the director, recently told MTV News that he thinks this project will raise everyone's expectations of the 'Halo' hitmaker and her new body of work:

"It'll be big, it'll probably be one of the bigger Beyoncé music videos ever done and I can say that I think the song is unbelievable."

"I think the video's gonna be really fun and cool and different for her."
