Global icon Beyoncé posted a message to her official website earlier today (July 20) to congratulate one of her followers on recording his own fantastic version of one her popular music videos.

A young male fan uploaded a home-filmed recreation of her 'Countdown' edit and after watching it, she decided to share it with her online community because she was so impressed with his effort and obvious attention to detail.

Although the boy wears a Snuggie for part of the clip, he managed to imitate her routine and facial expressions very closely and his attempt got a shoutout from Beyoncé herself, who wrote: "I think he did this video better than I did :) Love, B."

The video has racked up over 500,000 views since being uploaded and with the 'Halo' superstar's backing is bound to reach an even bigger audience.
