Beyoncé will release new music before Super Bowl half-time show

Beyoncé will release new music before her Super Bowl half-time show, her producer The-Dream has revealed.

The 'Run The World (Girls)' singer is scheduled to perform during the event at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 3.

The-Dream also announced that the star has been working on the follow-up to her 2011 album '4', and will preview tracks from the forthcoming record before the show.

He told Billboard: "She's got her stuff going. She took the summer to start recording, and now she's in a place where she's ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan.

"She's already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out. I'm sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here."

Beyoncé also revealed last month that she will star in and direct a documentary about her life for US cable channel HBO, which will be broadcast on February 13, 2013.

She recently unveiled a 25-second teaser trailer for the programme, which sees her looking into the camera and saying: "I always battle with how much I reveal about myself."
