Beyoncé UK tour ticket sale expected to attract a million fans

Demand for Beyoncé's upcoming UK tour is expected to reach massive levels when tickets go on public sale tomorrow (February 23).

The superstar singer is due to play a number of gigs in the UK in April and May as she brings the Mrs. Carter tour to Britain.

The run will kick off in Birmingham on April 26 before concluding on May 9 in Manchester, spanning eleven shows.

A massive one million people are expected to attempt to buy tickets when they go on sale, according to Seatwave spokesperson Louise Mullock. She said:

"Based on the level of demand for pre-sale tickets to see Beyoncé, we expect an unprecedented number of fans to seek tickets to her tour over the weekend - perhaps numbering up to a million. Beyoncé is one of the most popular acts around - she truly does run the pop world - and although her tour has been extended, the additional availability will do little to slake the thirst of the Beys."

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow at 9.30am UK time.
