BBC One announces premiere of Beyoncé's documentary

Beyoncé's 'Life Is But A Dream' documentary, which debuted on HBO in America last month, will be shown for the first time on BBC One in a few weeks.

The movie, which treats fans to exclusive tour footage along with personal family moments, will premiere on the channel later this month on March 28 at 10.35pm BST.

A tweet sent from BBC One's official page earlier today (March 13) explained: "*NEWS* We'll have the UK premiere of @beyonce's Life Is But A Dream documentary on Thursday 28th March at 10.35pm."

HBO's Michael Lombardo praised the film, describing it as "an honest struggle and such an honest conversation" and said: "This felt so fresh and honest to me. She's constantly walking this line between public performer and private person, and wrestling with how, in this massive spotlight, she can hold onto the part of yourself that makes it real."

“It's such an honest struggle and such an honest conversation. I was also dazzled by how hard she works, the unbelievable, unsexy, hard, sweaty work that goes into mounting a show – any show she does. You just have to take your hat off to her.”
