Following Taylor Swift’s lead, pop queen Beyoncé has revealed some photos of herself clad in red white and blue in honour of Independence Day.

The ‘Halo’ singer put the pics up on her Tumblr and Instagram pages, featuring her wearing denim shorts printed with the American flag, a horse-print white tank top and red shades. Beyoncé strikes a pose as she leans up against a light blue Rolls Royce convertible.

In a snap from inside the car, the singer’s rapper husband Jay-Z can be seen in the rear view mirror. Another pic shows Jay-Z carrying the couple’s baby Blue Ivy into a helicopter with Beyonce in the foreground wearing shorts and a crop top.

The posts also included pictures of the family’s holiday meal, including corn on the cob, watermelon and lobster.
