Mathew Knowles, father to singers Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, was married last Sunday to his former model girlfriend Gena Avery. But neither of the music manager’s famous daughters were in attendance.

The couple, who have been engaged for a year and a half, tied the knot in Houston, Texas, the Knowles family’s hometown. Mathew divorced his daughters’ mother, Tina Knowles in November 2011 following Mathew’s affair with actress Alexsandra White, who gave birth to his son Nixon in February 2010.

Beyoncé insists that she isn’t estranged from her father, but wasn’t able to attend the wedding. Mathew Knowles revealed to TMZ.com: "Unfortunately, Beyoncé and Solange had previous engagements which made it impossible for them to attend."
