Along with the announcement of her North American tour this Spring opening for Montreal singer-songwriter Charlotte Cardin, Niia today shares the video for the alternate version of song "California" (I, Atlantic Records) featuring Shady Records signee and California native Boogie. The somber, noir visual, directed by Bradley Soileau, shows both artists together in the back of a car but woefully unaware of each others presence. The heart wrenching video is an ethereal, introspective duet where both vocalists share experience of failed relationships past and... quite literally....disappear.

Niia's support for Charlotte Cardin marks her debut North American tour, and her first Canadian, midwest, and pacific northwest tour dates. The month-long tour starts in Boston, MA on April 13th and heads west through major markets until it's conclusion in San Diego, CA on May 5th- full list of dates below.

Last year saw Niia's intimate debut album I, which was produced by longtime collaborator and Grammy-nominated producer Robin Hannibal (Quadron, Kendrick Lamar / Black Panther, dvsn, Calvin Harris, THE INTERNET). The album received acclaim from the New York Times (Best of 2017), Pitchfork, The FADER, High Snobiety, W Magazine, Los Angeles Times, Stereogum, Complex, and more. The follow-up to 2014's Generation Blue EP and first release on Atlantic Records, Pitchfork called I "a fluid listen that imparts lovelorn angst and sweet romanticism in equal measure."
