Yvonne and Ronan Keating's family home up for sale

Yvonne and Ronan Keating's Irish mansion has been put up for sale.

The house in the town of Malahide, near Dublin is on the market for €2.45million (£2million).

The Celebrity Masterchef star – who now lives there with the couple's kids Jack, Missy and Ali after the breakdown of the couple's relationship – has decided it is time for new pastures, she said:

"The kids want to stay in Malahide, and the other priority is a fresh start."

The couple moved into the 6,286 sq ft property in 2010 from their original home nearby on the millionaires estate.

Whoever buys the property will have Westlife's Nicky Byrne and Georgina Ahern, and Irish footballer Robbie and Claudine Keane, as neighbours.

It has six rooms and has been designed explicitly by the couple at the back of the estate with privacy as their main concern – with huge hedging and electric gates.

Yvonne Keating is dating movie cameraman John Conroy. Ronan Keating is now with TV presenter, Storm Uechtritz.

One of the bedrooms has been fully converted into a home gym, and the property also has a soundproof room in the basement for use as a home cinema.

There is also a library-style cocktail bar, a open-plan living room and kitchen, with mirrored ceilings and chandeliers inside their bathrooms.
