Ronan Keating has spoken of his gratitude for Ed Sheeran after he performed at the singer's wedding.

The 'x' star ran through his hit track 'Thinking Out Loud' at the Irishman's event in Scotland earlier this month.

The Boyzone man tied the knot with his partner Storm Uechtritz.

Speaking to Hello!, Keating said that he was bowled over when Sheeran agreed to perform.

He said: "Ed’s a good friend and Thinking Out Loud is one of mine and Storm’s songs. When we all caught up in New York City a couple of months ago, I sounded him out about doing it and he didn’t hesitate. I was blown away.

"He is the most grounded, decent guy in the business and what a talent. Storm was speechless when Ed appeared. That doesn’t happen often."
