Boyzone have all but confirmed plans to tour the country this year.

The boyband have long been speculated to celebrate their 20th anniversary with a series of live shows.

Speaking on stage at Ronan Keating's O2 Arena gig in London on Saturday (January 26), singer Shane Lynch suggested that tickets for their upcoming tour will go on sale on Valentine's Day (February 14). He said:

"Ladies, it's the time of year you usually get flowers and chocolates. But now you can also get Boyzone tickets."

The four members of Boyzone have been enjoying time off from the group recently, with Ronan Keating for example releasing new solo album 'Fires'.

However, it had been reported that the record had only sold 181 copies in hometown Ireland after a few days of being on sale.
