Boyzone plan to keep going for another 30 years

Boyzone have revealed their desire to emulate the Rolling Stones and prolong their career for another few decades.

The veteran rock group - fronted by the 70-year-old Mick Jagger - recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Whilst the Irish band are only on year 20, Shane Lynch told the Mirror that Boyzone are hoping to keep going for another 30 years.

He said: "It’s all starting again. We’re going to be around as long as the Rolling Stones."

The group released their new album 'BZ20' on Monday (November 25) and it landed at No.5 on the UK midweek update.

However, they said before its release that One Direction's 'Midnight Memories' would probably beat them in the charts - a prediction that will come true.
