'Till The World Ends' beauty Britney Spears took time to visit Children's Hospital Los Angeles recently where she spent an afternoon sitting in on an art therapy session. 

Writing on their official Twitter page earlier today, a spokesperson for Children's Hospital LA explained that the pop megastar dropped by to take part in an art therapy session with some of the patients and also shared a couple of snapshots of the event (pictured above left): 

"Art therapy w/ @britneyspears was a blast. Thanks for visiting, Britney! Blog post coming soon... "Butterflies are our guardian angels" - @britneyspears joins patients for art therapy."

An update on the hospital's official blog page also revealed that Spears was very hands-on in the session, drawing and talking with the young patients:

"Britney shared her favorite images that remind her of family. Her collage included an image of a crawfish—her favorite food. She also chose a photo showing happy children to represent her two boys and a butterfly. “Butterflies are our guardian angels,” shares Britney."
