Britney Spears has spoken of her desire to work with Katy Perry and Iggy Azalea.

The singer recently confirmed that she is back in the recording studio as she follows up 2013's 'Britney Jean'.

It seems the US star has some big names in sight when it comes to possible collaborations.

Spears told Extra that she would love to duet with Perry and Azalea, with the 'Baby One More Time' star saying of the former:

“I think she’s just electric. Her hair is always a different colour. She’s so flamboyant. I love that energy. I think it’s contagious."

Speaking meanwhile about the progress of her new record, the singer added:

"Very slowly, but progressively. I want to do something very ‘artsy fartsy’, something I’ve never done before. Even if it’s just taking a left lane and doing something more rock or rock pop. I just want do something really out there and different."
