Britney Spears on new album: 'It will have a lot of 'I hate men' songs'

Pop megastar Britney Spears has revealed that her next studio album is likely to be heavily influenced by recent experiences she's had, which include splitting from boyfriend David Lucado.

During a press conference in London, where she was promoting her new Intimate Collection lingerie line, she admitted that there will be different themes on the record, but it's probably going to focus around her love/hate relationship with men:

"You take the experiences that you go through and definitely put that into your work, so I'm going to have a lot of 'I hate men' songs and then a lot of 'I love men' songs. It kind of goes both ways."

Spears also told Good Morning Britain that despite the break-up, she is 'pretty damn happy' and won't let it get her down: "I am pretty damn happy right now. It's all about setting yourself a goal and going for that and just being motivated and staying true to yourself."
