Pop megastar Britney Spears has revealed that although she tore a ligament while dancing at one of her Las Vegas residency concerts recently, she won't be deterred and announced that 'the show must go on'. 

During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the 'Till The World Ends' hitmaker opened up about the injury and confessed that it was really unfortunate because the choreography wasn't particularly challenging:

"Well, I actually wasn't doing anything that hard. I was just kind of bopping around. And I've done like eight years worth of shows. Plenty of shows! And I've never actually fell onstage, so it was really kind of embarrassing. But yeah, I fell down and I got up, and my dancers kind of guided me to keep going."

Spears then added that her Piece of Me residency has since been extended by "another three months" and admitted that she won't let a little injury stop her from carrying on the run: "I tore some ligaments... The show must go on."
