Pop megastar Britney Spears is heading to the passenger seat of James Corden's car as she will appear in an upcoming "Carpool Karaoke" segment for The Late Late Show. 

It'll be Spears' turn to sing along to her hit singles on Thursday, August 25 and tweeting about it today (August 10), she told her followers: "Took a ride around LA with @JKCorden & did a little #CarpoolKaraoke. Watch the @latelateshow on 8/25 to see it!"

Her highly anticipated new album 'Glory' is due to be officially released on August 26 and chatting to Ryan Seacrest about the record last week, she admitted that it has an undeniable hip-hop vibe:

"It took a lot of time, but I think we brought it to a level where I was really, really happy with what I had. It's cool, it's really different. I think this is probably the most hip-hop album. Not most, there are like two or three songs that go in the direction of more urban that I've wanted to do for a long time now, and I just haven't really done that."
