Pop songstress Britney Spears has taken to her official Twitter page to introduce the newest addition to her family.

Writing on the site earlier today (November 26), she told her fans that she has bought a new dog and also shared a photograph of the adorable pet: "I want you all to meet my new little baby girl @hannahspears <3 How cute is she?!?!"

In addition to welcoming the dog via her own social networking site, Spears has also set up a Twitter page for puppy Hannah and tweets sent from that account include "Woof!" and "Should I wear a bow? Mom says I'm a princess & that I need a bow."

Her new collaboration with Will.i.Am on 'Scream & Shout' dropped recently and the video for the cut is set to premiere during this Wednesday's (November 28) episode of X Factor USA.
