Britney Spears has suggested that she could be set to perform a series of shows in Las Vegas.

The singer has been widely rumoured to be close to landing a bumper deal worth $100 million (£63.5m) to perform a number of gigs at Caesar's Palace's Colosseum.

However, a rep for Caesars Entertainment recently denied the reports but said they would always be interested in acts such as Spears.

The pop princess has now reignited the rumours by tweeting about Las Vegas, typing:

"I don't think so honey #VivaLasVegas :) RT @hannahspears Mommy, are dogs allowed to gamble in vegas? Gonna cash all my bones in for chips."

Spears left her position as a judge on the X Factor USA in January and is said to be working towards her next studio album.
