Songwriter and producer William Orbit has opened up about Britney Spears’ upcoming eight studio album on Facebook.

Orbit was confirmed as a collaborator on the record back in May along with Naughty Boy. He has previously written for artists including Madonna, Pink, All Saints and Britpop group Blur.

Taking to Facebook about his latest project, Orbit said: "Going to cut vocals in LA with Britney in a few weeks. We've songs to die for."

Spears has previously stated that the album will be out “by the end of the year.”
