Britney Spears has been confirmed to appear on Good Morning America later this month.

The pop princess will feature on the US TV show on September 17.

It ties in somewhat with Spears' 'All Eyes On Me' countdown clock which will run on the singer's official website until that date.

Spears is the last of three blockbuster appearances confirmed for the show, with Katy Perry and Lady Gaga also due to feature in the days prior.

Perry meanwhile is expected to make a 'special announcement' during her slot on Friday (September 6).
