Britney Spears opens up about her break-up, Miley Cyrus and kissing Justin Timberlake

Earlier today (September 17), pop superstar Britney Spears confirmed that she will be heading for Las Vegas to do a residency and sat down with 'Good Morning America' after announcing the news for a chat.

Along with telling fans that the first date will kick off on December 27, she was asked her opinion on Miley Cyrus's recent performance at the 2013 MTV VMAs and explained that because it was so controversial people will remember it so that should be considered an achievement:

"I think anytime you do a performance that's that memorable you'll get criticism. I think she's doing her thing and being herself so I give props to her."

Spears also confessed that her upcoming new record, which is due to be released on December 3, will deal with her split from Jason Trawick, adding: "They suck - break-ups suck, man."

During the quick-fire part of the interview, she admitted that her first kiss happened when she was just 13-years-old with Justin Timberlake, and said that when she was younger she wanted her career to allow her to buy a house and bring up children on a good wage: "When I first started out all I wanted to do was make enough money to buy a house in Louisiana and have kids."
