'Work Bitch' sensation Britney Spears has revealed that she has become quite a perfectionist now that she has been in the industry for such a long time. 

She told Britain's Telegraph newspaper that she takes a lot of care over her appearance, live performances and career in general so she has to dedicate more time to everything in order for it to be up to her high standards:

"I need to rehearse more now than I did before. I feel I’m more of a perfectionist these days.”

"The increased scrutiny does make me a little harder on myself these days. There are more expectations of me now, not just in terms of what I do, but also in terms of who I am."

Spears quickly added that she loves to stay busy, so booking in lots of things makes her happy: "I get bored really, really easily so I always have to feel like I’m doing something – I have to get back to work and start working.”

When asked if the recording studio feels like a safe place where she can express herself freely, she said: "Yes, yes. Definitely. And that feeling of safeness comes through in my music now more than it ever has before – that’s how I feel comfortable making personal music."
