Britney Spears has revealed that she has often had lip injections.

The singer admitted to InStyle magazine that she regularly teamed up with a plastic surgeon to enhance her lips via a needle.

Speaking about beauty, the pop princess said: "I just bought the new Shiseido face wash and moisturiser. I have no problem trying new brands. A doctor I see, [Beverly Hills plastic surgeon] Dr. [Raj] Kanodia, does fun stuff to me sometimes - I've had lip injections before."

She added: "He has this peptide-based face-care product; it's green and slimy, and you mix it together and put it on your face. It does wonders. You leave it on overnight. Can you tell I love skin care?"

Spears meanwhile released her eighth studio album 'Britney Jean' in the UK at the start of December.

However, it only charted at a hugely disappointing No.34 in the country.

The record features collaborations with the likes of will.i.am and her sister Jamie Lynn.
