Bruno Mars vows to treasure old hits

Singer-songwriter Bruno Mars loves his old songs so much he has promised to sing them until the "day [he] dies".

The 27-year-old star's debut studio album 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' took the world by storm and boasted chart-topping hits including 'Grenade', 'The Lazy Song' and 'Just the Way You Are.'

Mars is proud of his past tracks and will always treasure them when he comes to perform on stage. He told a US newspaper recently: "I love those [older] songs. I'll stand by them and sing them till the day I die."

Mars is currently enjoying success with 'Unorthodox Jukebox' and enjoyed mixing things up in the studio.

He explained: "An artist has to stay excited to keep on doing it. And the way to stay excited is to keep pushing and to keep experimenting. I feel like I pushed on this record."
