Bruno Mars invests in e-cigarette company after kicking the habit

'Locked Out Of Heaven' hitmaker Bruno Mars has kicked his smoking habit by replacing real tobacco with NJOY Kings and has now invested in the privately-owned company because he believes in it.

Speaking to the New York Post about this new business venture, the singer-songwriter explained that he wanted to back the firm financially because of what the product has done for him:

"I've been using NJOY Kings instead of cigarettes these days, and I'm sticking to it. I believe in the product and the company's mission."

On May 12, Mars shared a photograph of himself smoking an e-cigarette (shown above left) and confessed that he decided to quit smoking for his mother, captioning the personal snapshot with "day 1 E-Cig, Gotta do it!!! This is for you mom."

During a recent interview with In Style magazine, Mars admitted that his latest album allowed him to get into "beast mode" and move away from the romance fans heard with his debut release: "Let's just say I'm in beast mode now. I've shown that lover-boy side of me - does anyone really want me to come back and sing Just The Way You Are, Part Two? As much as I love that song, I feel like I need to express other areas of love, relationships, girls and sex."
