Calvin Harris scores sixth No.1 single with 'Summer'

Scottish DJ Calvin Harris has shot straight in at No.1 this afternoon on the UK Top 40 singles chart with his new offering, 'Summer'.

This marks the star's sixth chart-topping single and The Official Charts Company explained that he outsold his nearest competitor, which is 'Waves' by Mr. Probz (No.2), by an impressive 7,000 copies.

Elsewhere in this week's Top 5 is Kiesza's 'Hideaway' at No.3, 'Nobody To Love' by Sigma at 4, and John Legend's ballad 'All Of Me' at No.5.

After just 24 hours of being on sale, the late Michael Jackson's 'Love Never Felt So Good' has made an appearance at No.27

Paloma Faith's 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This' has climbed a phenomenal 30 places to No.20, and 'It's On Again' by Alicia Keys ft. Kendrick Lamar has shot up 14 positions to No.39.
