Calvin Harris responds to Rita Ora's claim he axed her Teen Choice slot

Calvin Harris has taken to Twitter after former girlfriend Rita Ora claimed he pulled the plug on her proposed slot at this year's Teen Choice Awards.

The Brit had been scheduled to perform her single 'I Will Never Let You Down' - which was produced and written by Harris - at the event on Sunday (August 10).

The duo split after the song was released and Ora recently told Ryan Seacrest's radio show that Harris didn't approve the song being used at the event, so she cancelled.

Speaking on Twitter today (August 13), the Scottish DJ said that people are only hearing one side of the story.

Harris said: "You'll only know 1 side of the story RE Teen choice awards because I choose not to talk to the papers about every aspect of my personal life.

"But just know I had a damn good reason."
