Calvin Harris No.1 on midweek UK singles chart

Calvin Harris is on course to secure his fifth UK No.1 single.

The Scottish DJ recently released his John Newman collaboration 'Blame' and the Official Charts Company have confirmed that it is topping the singles chart.

Their midweek update, which was released today (September 10), confirms that last week's No.1 - 'Prayer in C' by Lilly Wood - is second on the list.

At No.3 on the update is Ten Walls' 'Walking With Elephants', which rockets up from No.184.

5 Seconds of Summer's latest single 'Amnesia' is No.4 whilst Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' rises one place to No.5.

Chris Brown meanwhile is due to break into the top ten for the tenth time with the track 'New Flame'.

A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera's 'Say Something' has risen to No.13 after being heavily featured on the X Factor.
