Calvin Harris scores his fifth No. 1 UK single with 'Blame'

Calvin Harris has topped the UK singles chart once again.

‘Blame’ – featuring John Newman – is Harris’ fifth number one single as a lead artist following on from ‘Summer’, ‘Under Control’, ‘Sweet Nothing’, and ‘I’m Not Alone’.

He has also reached the top spot as a featured guest on two further occasions in the form of Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ and Dizzee’s Rascal’s ‘Dance Wiv Me’.

Last week’s chart topper from Lilly Wood and Robin Schulz, with ‘Prayer In C’, has now slipped to No. 2.

The rest of this week’s top five is made up by Sam Smith up two to No. 3 with ‘I’m Not The Only One’, Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ also up two to No. 4, and ‘Black Widow’ by Iggy Azalea featuring Rita Ora down one to No. 5.

Other than Calvin Harris, there are three further new entries to this week’s chart. ‘Walking With Elephants’ by Ten Walls is new in at No. 6, Chris Brown is at No. 10 with ‘New Flame’ alongside Rick Ross and Usher, and Fall Out Boy have charted at No. 22 with ‘Centuries’.
