Calvin Harris inks Las Vegas residency deal

Calvin Harris has signed a lucrative contract with Hakkasan Group that will see him perform residencies in Las Vegas.

The Scottish DJ and producer has teamed up with the company for three years and he will play sets at three of their venues in the US city.

He will play residency slots at Hakkasan Nightclub, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino's Wet Republic and the upcoming Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace.

Harris, who is also now the Group's music consultant, commented:

"I am excited to be able to play a part in this next chapter of its story. Its venues are some of the best in the world for dance music and the opportunity to be part of the wider group as it develops into other markets and sectors is a really exciting prospect for me as an artist.

"We have some great ideas up our sleeves."

Hakkasan CEO Neil Moffitt added: "We are excited to continue our partnership with Calvin Harris as he extends his exclusive residencies with Hakkasan Group.

"He is a truly sensational artist and we look forward to what he will bring to our most acclaimed venues over the next three years".
