Calvin Harris on collaborating with Robbie Williams

Calvin Harris, whose second album 'Ready For The Weekend' should top the charts on Sunday, plans to add Robbie to an impressive list of collaborators.

He has already worked with Kylie Minogue and Dizzee Rascal. Calvin told me, “I want to work with Robbie, he’s my No 1 target now."

Calvin is promising “plenty of hands-in-the-air moments” when he plays his dream festival – Creamfields on Sunday August 30, alongside Paul van Dyk, and Basement Jaxx.

But it’s not all about the dancefloor for Calvin. There’s a secret jazz record in the pipeline as well.

“I don’t think the world is ready to hear my jazz album yet – it will be good but it’s for the privacy of my own room,” Calvin admitted.

In the meantime he is happy making “happy dance music for happy people”, and one of those happy people is a certain Katy Perry.

He added, “It’s all about having a good time. Every day gets a little closer to December when I’m due to make music with Katy.”
