Calvin Harris: "Live show is not going to happen any more"
Calvin Harris, who bagged the midweek No.1 in the UK singles chart yesterday (June 15) with 'Bounce', has revealed he was never "comfortable" on stage and that he has quit doing the "live show".
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he joked that he looks too similar to British star Example, but really just doesn't enjoy being a "frontman":
"Doing the frontman thing was never a very comfortable experience."
"Now I'm just DJ-ing and producing. The live show is not going to happen any more. I just look too much like Example. We're like the same person. There doesn't need to be two of us."
He doesn't, however, see this as a hindrance to his great career and added:
"I wrote the rule book on how to make it without being able to sing. I'm proud of that."
