Calvin Harris: 'I’ve got a lot to owe to David Guetta'

Calvin Harris has admitted that he owes a lot of his success to David Guetta.

The Scottish DJ/producer, who opened for the Frenchman last night at the iTunes Festival, told Capital FM that he believes the ‘Titanium’ hitmaker is largely responsible for the current popularity of the EDM scene:

"I've got a lot to owe David, you know. He started the whole dance music [resurgence], radio picking up on it everywhere, so yeah it's lovely to play with him.

"It's always lovely to see him, I've got massive respect for the man. I'm a huge fan."

Harris performed a hit-laden set at the Camden Roundhouse show, including 'We Found Love,' and 'We’ll Be Coming Back' alongside 'Sweet Nothing,' his new single featuring Florence Welch
