Calvin Harris bags record for most top ten songs from one album

Calvin Harris is celebrating breaking a new UK chart record.

The Scottish DJ has now had eight songs from his 2012 album '18 Months' hit the top ten in the UK singles chart.

The feat was achieved with his latest release 'I Need Your Love', which features Ellie Goulding.

The record was previously held by Michael Jackson's 1987 effort 'Bad' and also his 1991 album 'Dangerous'.

Harris expressed his surprise on Twitter before tweeting:

"I'll never dance, sing or be an ultimate musical legend & icon like MJ but he didn't know anything about sidechaining so it all balances out."

Included in Harris' top ten haul are the tracks 'Feel So Close', 'We Found Love' and 'Drinking From The Bottle'.
