Pastor who wed Cheryl Cole says marriage ceremony was 'incredibly captivating'

The pastor who presided over Cheryl Cole's second wedding has opened up on the ceremony.

As previously reported, the singer recently revealed that she wed Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini on July 7 at Mustique beach in a surprise ceremony.

The couple haven't been together too long and this led some into questioning whether the wedding took place too soon.

However, Pastor Devon R Ollivierre told the Mirror that the ceremony was full of love and felt "natural".

He said: "I married Cheryl last week. She was wearing a white dress with a train and her husband was wearing black pants and a white shirt. They looked incredible. It seemed intense. There were no tears and they didn’t seem nervous, it was very natural.

"With the way they were dressed, the white sand and the way they were speaking to each other, it was lovely. Despite being done on the open beach, it was very private. The beauty of it was that the sun was going down and the light was lovely."

The pastor added: "They seemed very in love, the atmosphere was incredibly captivating – even if I didn’t know who she was."
