Cheryl Cole on downsides of fame: 'I'm tabloid fodder'

'Crazy Stupid Love' songstress Cheryl Cole has revealed that fame isn't all it's cracked up to be and if there was a way she could continue her current life without being a celebrity, she would change that in an instant.

Speaking to Britain's The Times Magazine, the beauty explained that the one downside to her lifestyle is the constant intrusions into her privacy and if that was something that could be removed, she would be much happier:

"I'd just live me life. Trust us, it's the one thing I could do without, is fame. If I could live this life, without being famous, I would."

Cole, who recently married French boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, added: "If I could perform, connect with the fans one-on-one [without being famous], I would. There are some people who can do it. Some groups and some stars, you never see in the paper. I'm tabloid fodder."
