Cheryl: 'I just want to turn the music on and turn the world off'

Songstress Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (née Cole) has revealed that she loves nothing more at the end of a long day than shutting out the world and getting lost in music.

Speaking in a Beats by Dr. Dre exclusive film, the beauty explained that music is the one thing that helps her get back to herself and to feel truly centred:

"I feel like I've really grown as a person over the past couple of years since I've been away. Even in the eye of the storm you need moments alone to think and gather your thoughts. Music helps me do that. All I want to do at the end of the day is put the music on and turn the world off."

She went onto add that she feels as though she has really grown over the past year and feels confident in who she is: "I feel instinctive. I'm not afraid. I'm prepared to go for it with no fear. I feel comfortable in my own skin, I know who I am. I know what I want, I know exactly what I don't want. I'm in a great place as a woman."
