Cheryl has uploaded a photo of a new tattoo on Instagram today (April 3).

The new tat features a tiny red heart shape by a fingernail and the star expressed how happy she was with her it.

She wrote: "My new baby ink' complete with emojis of a needle, heart and smiley face." 

Cheryl is a massive fan of tattoos, with her most famous one being of a huge bed of roses covering her bottom (see below). The rose tattoo is so big that it cost the price of a 'small car,' she said.

The new small heart could well be representative of the new love in her life, One Direction's Liam Payne.

At Easter, Cheryl uploaded a photo of Payne struggling with lots of Easter eggs at a Los Angeles' English store.

Recently, Sinitta spoke candidly about the Cheryl/Liam Payne romance, describing their relationship as steamy from the get go.

Revealing what happened when the lovebirds met up at the X Factor December Final, the 'Toyboy' singer disclosed: "The attraction was tangible in the room, I'll put it that way!"
