Cheryl reveals desire to move into artist management and talent spotting

Cheryl says she would love to divert into other avenues of the music business, such as artist management or finding new acts.

The singer, who was formerly a judge on the UK X Factor, told Hello that she is keen to help new acts reach the limelight. She said:

"I'd like to get into management, signing new artists myself. Away from X Factor, I love spotting talent. I can feel it, I can sense it and I get a buzz out of it. And doing TV work - not being on TV, but being involved and coming up with ideas."

Cheryl also confirmed that the follow-up to her 2014 record 'Only Human', which reached No.7 on the UK albums chart, could land next year. She said:

"I am working on new music and I have been for a while. I'm not going to release it until I am 100 per cent happy and I'm getting there, but it won't be until next year. And I've been doing a lot with my charity. It has been amazing to have time to solely focus on that and achieve what needs to be done."
