Cheryl Cole wowed onlookers at the Cannes Film Festival yesterday (May 20) after she wore a red feathered dress.

The singer wore a white Stephane Rolland dress with a feathered train as she walked down the red carpet.

The feathered part of the dress was red, blending in with the carpet behind her.

Tweeting before hitting the red carpet, Cole said:

"About to walk the red carpet for @LOrealParisUK. It's raining lol. #Cannes2012."

Fellow music type Plan B meanwhile has been in Cannes as he promotes his new film iLL Manors.

He's bringing out an accompanying soundtrack album to the film too as he builds on the success of his previous release, 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks'.
