Cheryl Cole has admitted that she doesn't find singing easy.

Speaking to Popjustice, the Girls Aloud turned solo star was asked if she found singing easy or not.

She replied that she doesn't thinking singing should be easy anyway - it should "come from your emotions". She said:

"I don't, no. I don't think singing is supposed to be easy. It's supposed to come from your emotions."

Cole also opened up on how she got signed up to release her solo music, adding that her label were initially "dubious" over her. She said:

"I think the label were a bit dubious at the time when Will suggested it. I think they were like, 'Statistically it doesn't work'. I was married, I was sorted! It was Will who said, 'Come in and write'. And the first thing I wrote was 'Heaven'."
