Cheryl Cole unveils behind-the-scenes footage from 'Under The Sun' video shoot

Pop beauty Cheryl Cole has treated fans to behind-the-scenes footage from her new music video.

The songstress has unveiled a two-part special that shows how she created the Anthony Mandler-directed cut for 'Under The Sun' and in it she explains that she plays a character, which is something she hasn't done in a music video before:

"The concept for the video is that I play a character, so there's a little bit of acting going on which is very unusual for me - it's a new challenge. My character's actually a mixture of mischevious, cheeky, and elegant."

She also revealed that she didn't expect the video for this track to turn out the way it did, but after working with Mandler on the visuals for 'Call My Name' she decided to let go and trust his opinion the second time around:

"To be honest, when I recorded this song, this is not the vision I would have had. But I loved working with Anthony on the last video and when I read his treatment I got exactly where he was coming from.

"This is the point where you have to trust in amazing people who are incredible at what they do and say, 'I believe in your treatment', which is what I have done."
