'Call My Name' hitmaker Cheryl Cole has revealed that despite looking up to Beyoncé, she made a fool of herself when she met her at an event and is 'embarrassed' by the memory.

During a recent interview with MSN UK, Cole explained that she idolises the 'Halo' superstar but coming face-to-face with her was less than the dream she had imagined:

"I love how Beyoncé is empowering as a woman. She's positive and she’s about sisterhood and that’s quite rare these days I think. I always looked up to her, in Destiny's Child she was my favourite."

"I haven't seen her since, but that's OK  - that one time was enough for me. I totally embarrassed myself - I'm sure she doesn't want to see me again."
